Felmer and Solmon Learning Styles

      My styles of learning are a balance of active and reflective and also a balance of visual and verbal. I am also more in favour of sensing and sequential learning. The type of learning experience that would suit me is to learn factual information in a chronological order.  It needs to be set out in a step by step, start to finish type of style, this way I can fully understand and thrive. I believe that this test is actually very accurate and agree the results I received are quite correct to some extend. But I believe that even though the majority applies to me some of it does not and I believe you cannot just put Learners in a set environment applied by this as even though it is very black and white there are some grey areas that need to be catered for.

The implication for online learning designs can be very educational and a great resource for teachers and learners, but I do not agree in it being the only learning environment for learners. Even though it has a lot of positives that could be gained by using online learning designs, it does not cater for all who need one on one face to face time, which is great for those who need a little bit of extra help. Overall I believe it would be good to use in different learning environments but can not be the only thing relied on by educators.
